Reservation Cancellation Policy

Kaktovik Inn operates as a man-camp, charging per bed. Guests may be roomed with other guests, but we do our best to stagger accommodations.

We appreciate your choice to stay with us at Kaktovik Inn, and we look forward to hosting you. To ensure a smooth reservation process and provide the best service to all our guests, we have implemented the following policies:

1. Confirmation and Reservation:

• Once you submit your reservation, our staff will review availability and send a confirmation within 24-72 hours. Please note that reservations made after 4 p.m. on Friday will be reviewed the following Monday morning.

2. Cancellation Deadline:

• Changes or cancellations must be requested in writing at least 72 hours prior to the reservation to receive a full refund. Cancellations made without advanced written notice will not be refunded.

3. Remaining Balance:

• If the reservation is not canceled within 72 hours of confirmation or arrival, the total booking amount will be charged.

4. Refunds:

• Cancellations made within the specified time frame will be eligible for a refund. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.

5. Late Cancellation or No-Show:

• Reservations canceled within 72-hours of arrival or in the case of a no-show will result in the full booking amount being charged.

6. Modification Policy:

• Reservations can be changed by emailing reservations@kic.biz. A confirmation response from Kaktovik Inn is required to ensure the change has been made.

8. Exceptions:

• Exceptions to this policy may be considered in special circumstances, such as unforeseen emergencies. Please contact us directly to discuss any such situations.
